Basic 4x8x2 chicken tractor

This basic chicken tractor is designed for broilers. It uses a five gallon bucket to supply a gravity feed watering system. We use hanging feeders that can be obtained at most feed stores. The split roof design allows for easy access.

This was a waterer that we were testing last year. It worked well when level but tended to overflow when it wasn't. Which was all to often on our land. We switched to cups that work much better for us on our rough field.

This was a "prefab" bucket that we purchased for testing. Note that it doesn't have a shut-off valve.
